Photos
Photos help you document the condition of items throughout the repair process. This is a Pro feature.
Photo types
Section titled “Photo types”Each ticket supports three categories of photos:

|---|---|
| Intake | When the item arrives — document existing damage, scratches, or condition |
| During repair | While work is in progress — capture diagnostic findings or mid-repair state |
| Post-repair | After the repair is complete — show the finished result |
Uploading photos
Section titled “Uploading photos”- Open a ticket’s detail page.
- In the Photos section, click the menu to add photos.
- Drag and drop images or click to browse. Select the photo type (intake, during-repair, or post-repair).
- Photos are uploaded and stored via the Shopify Files API.
Photos are automatically renamed on upload for consistent organization.
Deleting photos
Section titled “Deleting photos”Remove a photo from the ticket detail page. Deleted photos are also removed from Shopify Files.
- Take intake photos before starting any work to protect against disputes.
- Use during-repair photos to document issues you discover that weren’t in the original report.
- Post-repair photos are useful for showing customers the completed work, especially for mail-in repairs where they can’t see the item in person.
